Danteshwari PG College established in 1982 ,by Government of Chhattisgarh affilated
to Shaheed Mahendra Karma Vishvidayalaya
Jagdalpur. The Colllege is Registered under Section 2(F) and 12(B) of UGC Act. Institute of higher education, located at Dantewada.

Learning Resources:
Total Number of Permanent
Teachers in the college is 20. Amongst them 07 are PhD holders. To compensate
vacant posts, appointment of teachers as part time has been made by jan
Bhagidari samiti. Besides teachers appointed by C.G. Govt, on contractual
basis.
Teachers prepare their teaching plans which
are implemented and reviewed by the respective Head of the Departments and the
Principal. The lecture method of teaching is supplemented by workshop, seminars
and symposia, Field visits, survey and excursions are organized for the
students.
Infrastructure:
The institute has a
separate auditorium to organize curricular/cultural activities, conferences and
workshops. Separate boys and girls hostels are available control by the Govt.
of Chhattisgarh. It is provides accommodation to the students coming from
nearby socially and economically deprived.
The college has its own
infrastructure facilities to keep pace with the expansion in its academic and
research programme. It has 20 Classroom & 07 laboratories, an auditorium
with, and a central library. The central administrative office and the entire
department are equipped with computer facility. There is also one common
central Internet facility,
Easy access is facilitated for both teachers ad Postgraduate students to these
facilities.
Extension
and Extra curricular Activities:
The students participate In Extension activities like
Community Development, Health and Hygiene awareness, AIDS awareness social
works, Blood Donation Camps, Environment awareness, tree plantation etc.
through NSS, NCC , Red Cross and Eco Club . Students and teachers are also encouraged to
participate in such extension programmes. Red Cross units are working
countinuously in the college.
Therefore, the institute provides not only the opportunity to study but also ensure complete development of students necessary for their successful career.
